Renewable resources and quality of landscape: concepts, context and cases

Energy landscape

An energy landscape is characterized by one or more elements of the energy chain (e.g. energy extraction, assimilation, conversion, storage, transport or transmission of energy).
The outcome can be a multi-layer energy landscape comprising combinations of technical and natural sources of energy within a landscape. In COST RELY, energy landscape is focused on renewable energy and the impact on landscape quality.
